We have been trying to cleanly upgrade the client from 6. The MSI is deployed with "REBOOT=ReallySuppress /qn". We deploy it via Intune as a line of business app with the MSI installer that you can download by running the online installer. We use the free Forticlient on all our Intune managed Windows Machines.
